- What is your favourite Christmas Movie/s?
If you are Christmas obsessed like myself then your list is probably extensive- so this is a bit of a tough question! I have dedicated an entire post to my favourite movies for this year. Read it here www.ayoagbesanwa.com/christmas-movies
- What is your favourite Christmas Song?
Anything by Michael Bublé and Pentatonix during the festive season always gets me in the mood.
- Do you open your presents on Christmas Eve or Christmas morning?
Neither…I open them as I get them. If I’m honest, most times I get money transferred into my account, so I can buy what I want lol
- Do you have a favourite Christmas memory?
I don’t think I have any specific favourite memories, but I love waking up and just spending time eating breakfast with my family, followed by cooking Christmas dinner with my sister.
I’m off to Nigeria this Christmas so I’m looking forward to making more memories.
- Favourite festive food?
Oh, this is a tough one! I love to consume everything that’s available. From the crispy roast potatoes to the salmon to the roast duck to the Christmas desserts, I do go a bit crazy!
- Favourite Christmas gift?
Hmmmm I don’t know! I would probably have to say plane tickets lol. My sister and I used to travel to either Nigeria or America when we were younger. This would be my favourite Christmas gift because of the experiences and family quality time money can’t buy. I can feel myself get excited just thinking about it haha!
- Favourite Christmas scent?
- Cinnamon! Anything with the smell of cinnamon always reminds me of Christmas! The spiced scent from the burning candle always puts me in a good mood.
- Can you name all of Santa’s reindeer?
Absolutely not lol
- What is your all-time favorite Christmas food/sweet treat?
Errmmm…sugar cookies. Lots of sugar cookies
- What would be your dream place to visit for the festive season?
Aspen Colorado or Santa Claus Village and Santa Park in Finland
- Do you make New Years resolutions? Do you stick to them?
Not anymore. I found that I never actually stick to them because I saw them as temporary. That’s why I now spend December finalising my plans for the next year. I also found the same lack of commitment amongst my peers and that pattern set me on a journey of self-discovery and developing better management tools for myself. This is how Vision Cast 2018 came to fruition. Follow me on Instagram (@ayoagbesanwa) for more information.
- Do you have any Christmas Eve traditions?
Nothing specific, I spend time with the family and prep all the meals for the next day with my sister. This is also when I bake the desserts.
- What tops your tree?
I’m not too fussed about this if I’m honest. I usually have two gold flower ornaments - As a kid what was the one (crazy, wild, extravagant) gift you always asked for but never received?
I don’t think there was anything outrageous that I ever asked for. If I did then I can promise you that my parents probably looked at me and laughed.
- What’s the best part about Christmas for you?
A lot of my excitement has to do with the build up to Christmas. Planning the menu, shopping for presents and tasting all the Christmas beverage flavours from Starbucks and Costa. However much I love Christmas Day it’s always gone too fast! After spending hours in the kitchen, I’m just so exhausted when it’s time to socialise but in the spirit of Christmas, I power through.
I’m dedicating a post to why I love the Christmas period so much, so be on the lookout for that.
I hope you’ve enjoyed this tag! If you also do the tag (feel free to answer the questions in the comments if you don’t have a blog) make sure to let me know, I’d love to read your answers!
